Transition Documents

Welcome to 心灵社区. Please find below a range of documents for parents/carers of children joining us in September 2024, or transferring to us before the end of this academic year. If you have any questions, please contact Admissions on mhs-admissions@montpschool.org

We ask parents/carers to complete the following online forms as part of their child's transition to 心灵社区:

3) Acceptable Use Agreement - to be completed with student (click )

Free School Meals

Your child may be entitled to school meals if you get any of the following:

Income Support
income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
income-related Employment and Support Allowance
support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
the guaranteed element of Pension Credit
Child Tax Credit (provided you’re not also entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual gross income of no more than £16,190)
Working Tax Credit run-on - paid for 4 weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit
Universal Credit - if you apply on or after 1 April 2018 your household income must be less than £7,400 a year (after tax and not including any benefits you get)

Children who get paid these benefits directly, instead of through a parent or guardian, can also get free school meals.

If you do not qualify for most benefits (also known as having ‘no recourse to public funds’), your child may still be eligible for free school meals. Please contact the school office for advice.

Frees school meals at MHS are provided by Bristol City Council (regardless of which part of Bristol you live in). The online application form can be found on the Bristol City Council website by clicking . We also have paper forms in the school office.

Coach Routes

Bus routes are arranged by the coach companies.

Bakers Dolphin operate a bus route from Weston-Super-Mare and surrounding area. Please click for further information.

Uniform Financial Assistance

Our Sponsors, The Society of Merchant Venturers, provide the school with an Endowment that is used to support families in hardship to meet the cost of uniform. Priority will be given to families in receipt of Free School Meals. Please click hereto apply for financial assitance with school uniform.
